ABOUT
Hi, I'm Lisa! An Australian who found home in the beautiful, nature-inspired town of Silkeborg, Denmark. After falling in love with a Dane and moving here in 2023, I brought my passion for ceramics with me across the globe.
My journey with clay began here as a way to slow down.
I was diagnosed with ADHD later in life, and ceramics has helped me more than I can put into words, especially after welcoming my second child Siena. The studio became a place to return to myself.
My work is a dialogue between two landscapes: the rhythmic beach waves of the Australian shores where I first touched clay, and the raw, grounded beauty of the Danish forests that now surround & inspire me.
Each piece is made by hand in my small studio in Virklund, Silkeborg.
I work primarily with stoneware, embracing the natural texture of the clay body. I don't strive for perfection; I strive for character. The wobble of a rim, the mark of a finger, the unpredictable nature of the glaze, these are the things that make the pieces feel alive.
My hope is that these pieces bring a sense of grounding and ritual to your daily life. Whether it's your morning coffee or a gathering with friends, I want my ceramics to be part of those moments.
